My name is James Athan, owner and fabricator of Ace Iron Works. I’ve always had a love for art in many shapes, styles and form. Having started this business in 1992, I found an avenue to express myself through ironwork.
Not only is ironwork a durable, long-lasting material, it’s an expression of art and strength.
Based on our customers’ needs and budget, we’re not always able to create an artistic piece. Nevertheless, we continue to get satisfaction from building a functional, quality product whether in our custom railings, iron fences, driveway gates or other lines.
From the simple, functional railing to a decorative, artistic driveway gate for your home or security work for your business, we’ll help put together a design and estimate to meet your needs. From initial design consultation through build, I participate from start to finish.
Through the years, we’ve successfully designed, built and installed thousands of ornamental iron and steel products for the homeowners, property managers and many corporate clients. In fact, 2013 earmarked the second consecutive year that Ace Iron Works was voted Best Welding Contractor in Redmond, WA.

As the owner, it’s imperative to me that the customer is not only happy with the end result but also understands they’ve made a wise and solid investment in the product, which will be durable and long-lasting for many years to come.
