In 1951, Arizona Art Supply was the first art store opened in Phoenix. Earlier, the store began as one aisle of art supplies in a hardware store. The demand for art supplies grew very quickly as more artists began working in Arizona. Soon, the founders closed their hardware store and opened Arizona Art Supply. Local professional artists have since been dedicated to Arizona Art Supply. Arizona Art Supply returns that dedication by remaining committed to the needs of serious artists.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Scottsdale and Sun City stores are now CLOSED! Our leases for those locations recently expired. We thank our loyal customers for their continued patronage and hope that you’ll visit us in our Phoenix Store Location.

As demand for a professional art store has grown over the years, so have we. Our Downtown Phoenix store remains the largest art supplier in the Southwest. Our Tucson location opened in the summer of 2008 in Tucson to serve the artist communities in the Old Pueblo, Marana, Oro Valley, Green Valley, Tubac & the Catalina Foothills.

For artists that are dedicated to producing professional artworks, we offer many high quality materials from which you can choose. Our dedicated customer service also means that you are never on your own in your decisions about art materials. We are available seven days a week by phone or email to answer your questions about art materials. Our satisfaction guarantee means that you can always return the art material that you purchase from us if you are not completely happy with its performance.

Our retail stores are also recognized by Winsor & Newton as Premier Art Centers, a very prestigious honor presented by the worlds largest manufacturer of quality artist materials and presented only to a select group of retailers in the entire United States. This recognition is based on an exemplary high level of customer service and large inventories of all types of media.
