In August of 1988, ARPCO Transport Services opened its doors in founder and CEO, Albert Puig's, home. At this time, ARPCO was a transportation brokerage company which facilitated and arranged the transportation of domestic shipments. In only a short time, ARPCO transformed from a one-man operation to a successful small business. Currently, ARPCO has expanded to include the safe and legal OTR (Over the Road) and Intermodal Transportation of B2B (Business to Business) shipments nationwide.
Albert Puig's vision for ARPCO Transport Services' success involves four (4) foundational pillars; excellence, goodwill, integrity, and enterprise. These pillars outline the principles behind ARPCO's modus operandi, or our method of operation.
Excellence. ARPCO's adherence to this first pillar flows straight in to the word's precise definition, "Of the highest quality." As a family business with Christian ownership, ARPCO identifies with the Biblical principle in which every task is completed with a high standard of diligence— the first time.
Goodwill. ARPCO employees challenge themselves daily by asking the question, "How can I be the difference?" We participate and contribute to over twenty national and international charities by way of donating our time, talent, and treasure to those less fortunate and in need of assistance.
Integrity. At ARPCO, we believe that our word is our bond. We know that people do business with companies they can trust; therefore, we take no shortcuts. We operate within the guidelines set forth by the DOT and FMSCA and the TIA's code of ethics.
