Powder Coating is exactly what it sounds like – a dry, electrostatically positively charged powder (about the consistency of baking flour) is applied to the negatively charged part, and then baked in a large oven at 300-450 degrees depending on the part, material, and powder choice. In the oven, the powder melts and turns into a solid, durable and beautiful finish which is fully cured and ready for use once out of the oven and cooled.
Powder coating leaves a high quality finish that is found majority of new metal products. Powder coating is impact, chip & scratch resistant and is much more durable than paint in high wear and extreme weather conditions than traditional paints, yet provides a great looking coating in a variety of finishes.
