Beauty in the Bead is your mom and son bead team, Linda Mercadante and her son, Garrett Mercadante. Our goal is to provide you with good quality beads at fair prices with exceptional care and customer service. Every customer matters to us. We guarantee your satisfaction and will refund or exchange products. The only exception is we will not take back strands or materials that you have cut.

We started off in 2009 with a bead shop in Bellingham and then in 2011 added traveling bead shows in WA, OR and ID. Our bead shop closed in 2018 and we continued with just the traveling bead shows in hotel conference rooms. Big changes came in 2019, when we bought a wholesale bead business. This greatly increased our inventory and gave us access to even more prime oversees vendors. This accomplishment gave us better pricing and we passed the savings on to you! We had a wonderful combination of providing bead stores and our retail traveling shows with beads and beading supplies. We really enjoyed that blend of business.

Then came March of 2020! Due to COVID, we could not continue with our traveling bead shows. Like many businesses, we needed to find a way to continue our retail business from home. That is how our Facebook Live Video Shows started. There is no limit to our potential customer base, so we now have customers from all over the US, Canada and even Australia. We have a great time doing the shows and chatting with bead lovers from so many places. Another benefit to you, is we now can have lower "AT HOME PRICES". Since we do not have the travel and hotel conference room expenses, we lowered ALL our prices. Currently, we do not plan on doing traveling shows again and will just continue to Facebook Live Video Shows.
