Burrito Bar & Kitchen first opened our doors Jan 1991 in Tribeca 2 blocks South of Canal street in a small intimate 40 seat space. We catered to mostly local residents, tourists, and professionals in the area serving lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch in a 60's Hippie Rock Tex Mex concept.

Eventually, we expanded to over 100 seats and became a destination spot for both locals and guests from the outer boroughs. 4 years after 09/11, we decided to close the Tribeca location in 2005 and move to Brooklyn, where the new Barclays Center was being constructed.

The new location in Park Slope opened in 9/2005, catering to locals, tourists, and many loyal friends from Tribeca. Fourteen years later we are still going strong thanks to all of our loyal BBK Groupies. Celebrating 29 years in 9/19, we hope to continue serving the community for another 29.

Our philosophy is a simple one: Serve a quality product in a comfortable environment at a reasonable price with a smile and make our guests feel at home.
