I have been a licensed baker for nearly 10 years now and started a commercial kitchen in my home for the first 4 years. When that got a little 'tight' and business started growing I opened a storefront in Spencerport. After 5 years with a lot more stress and overhead, it started to affect my health. I decided to reduce the size of the business and join up with one of my former employees, Rebecca Kester, to start The Cake Co-op! This partnership is helping Becca start her business, Daydream Cakes, as well. And we still get to work together!

I have been blessed on this journey with opportunities like making Reggie Jackson's birthday cake, the Tom Brady football cake going viral on sites such as NFL, Sports Illustrated and CNN. And my most recent honor, appearing on Food Network's 'Cake Wars' Charlie Brown Allstars episode! And of course I have loved baking cakes for my friends at 92.5 WBEE for the past 8 years.

For 3 years now I have been working with the Radisson Riverside and Radisson Airport hotels, and The Rabbit Room in Honeoye Falls to make cakes for their weddings and other special events.

I never went to culinary school and basically taught myself the craft. I have a visual communications degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh so art has always been my passion along side baking. Who would've thought making a couple cakes out of my home would turn into such a wonderful adventure!
