What is California Rainforest besides an oxymoron?

Well it is my life. I'm Jerec Velez, Certified Horticulturist,

Ballet instructor and author. I was raised in California in a

botanical palm forest in Westminster on Devonshire Circle

I have a lifetime of experience with palms and tropicals,

how they grow, what they need and how to get them.



It is also my attitude and aesthetic desire for diversity much

like CA and rainforests have. Rainforests have been decimated

my whole life which makes me view gardens that I create like

refugees of the plant kingdom and sanctuaries for plant, wildlife and humans alike.
