Certified Automotive Repair is a locally owned business, founded and managed by Ed Mortara in 2000. Ed began his career in the auto industry more than 39 years ago and moved to Nevada County from the Bay Area in 1990. Ed has been opened in his Grass Valley location since 2005.
With the new location and space, Ed was able to expand, adding employees and additional services for his existing and new customers. Ed and his staff are ASE Certified Technicians and he is a current member of the Automotive Service Association.
Certified Automotive is proud to be an active and supportive member of our community. Our owner and employees have devoted both time and money to help support many youth organizations, charities and non-profits in Nevada County. Below is a list of organizations we have assisted:
