Your designer, Melinda, wants to make her clients lives better through good design and she wants to contribute to a healthier world through sustainable and healthy design. She believes we all deserve good design and our spaces should foster life, enjoyment, health, and beauty.
She was educated in interior design at Mount Royal, has been practicing interior designer in Calgary for over 20 years, is NCIDQ certified, and a member of both Interior Designers of Alberta and Interior Designers of Canada.
She has worked on a range of small to multi-million-dollar projects in residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, and health-care. Renovations are her love and she brings her passion to design better for the environment and our health.
She had big plans on becoming an architect after her education, but a life-altering car accident changed that trajectory. It brought into sharp focus how important good design is for our health and well-being, and how bad design affects us adversely. She lives with chronic pain and chooses to use her experiences to make her clients’ lives better through good design.
