Clearwater Music began as a repair shop in 1995 in a basement. Since then, it has grown to be one of the largest music stores of its kind in the Inland Northwest simply by fulfilling the needs of the community. Clearwater has the most diverse offering of any music store in our area with 17 private teachers, the most complete repair shop, free first lessons, providing instruments at all income and proficiency levels, experts on site to help young musicians progress, and an ear to what the directors and the community needs.
What our community needs now is a low cost place for a north side youth orchestra, community band, programs that will enable our students to compete on a national level in jazz and orchestral auditions, adult/youth combined groups passing on arts such as jazz, bluegrass, gospel, Celtic, and other music opportunities.
