Charles F. Cordell, founder of Cordell Construction of Ridgecrest, CA, began his career in 1969, doing electrical contracting for his father. In 1972, the Cordells began doing commercial work and general contracting. In 1989, Chuck obtained his own general engineering license and started Cordell Construction. He has since built more than 400 homes, running and completing several infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, and gas.
Chuck chose to enter the construction business because he genuinely loves contracting and controlling his own destiny. He has lived in the Ridgecrest area all his life.
Cordell Construction is licensed, bonded, and carries general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Our word is the strength of the company.
Cordell Construction received a Beautification Award from the Chamber of Commerce and state officials. We are a member of Habitat for Humanity, Local USO, BPOE Lodge No. 1913, Relay for Life, and support the Wounded Warrior Project.
