Dr. Lee grew up in New Jersey and received his undergraduate degree in finance from University of Pennsylvania. He worked in New York City as a financial analyst for several years before his love for animals and desire to help people ultimately steered him to a career in veterinary medicine. He graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School (where he was classmates with Dr. De La Paz) in 2006 with multiple accolades in internal medicine, companion animal medicine, and ophthalmology, as well as being inducted into the Phi Zeta Honor Society for academic achievement. Afterwards, he elected to undergo additional advanced training through a rigorous internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego (www.vshsd.com). There, he worked closely with board-certified specialists in numerous fields, gaining valuable experience in complex medical and surgical cases. After the internship, he worked as a small animal veterinarian in Orange County for several years before acquiring Corona Animal Hospital in 2010. In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, serving on his church praise team, rooting for Philadelphia and Ohio State sports teams, and attempting to hit a golf ball consistently.
