Craig Walstead is a music teacher in Gig Harbor WA. teaching Piano, Music Theory and music Composition.

My teaching commitment is to give each student an opportunity to learn and experience the joy of making music.

Although technical excellence is expected, lessons are given while maintaining sensitivity to the individual's emotional and intellectual needs.

I believe my job is to motivate students, to guide them to increased skill in playing, and to give them opportunities to share the music that I hope they will grow to love as I do. I love teaching classical and contemporary music, while also providing the theoretical background necessary for ear training,

theory, improvisation and learning to compose.
