Owners, Ryan and Tara Smith on August 15th, 2000, founded Creative Tile. Ryan Smith grew up in the tile industry and decided at age 13 that tile was going to be his profession. Ryan & his high school sweetheart Tara owned they’re own installation company at age 19. With Ryan’s love for the beauty of tile and Tara’s business management skill, they decided to open Creative Tile at age 27 and move to providing the best tile available to the building industry. Ryan is somewhat of a tile geek and often refers to tile as the cosmetics of the project. Ryan and his wife Tara had opened a showroom and warehouse location in the historical camp Pinedale USO military base gymnasium built in 1941 located in Fresno, Ca. The beautiful historical building still stands strong till this day.
We often hear that there is something different about Creative Tile. We love what we do, that’s the difference and our customers see it, and know we care. Ryan is always installing something new and unique at Creative like the recycled glass tile flag in the bathroom or the nature scene with giant sunflowers made out of glass and pebble. It’s a passion for tile, design and progression so our guests never know what to expect says Ryan.
