Decisive Testing, Inc. opened it’s doors in 1968 and has been family owned and operated since then. Over 50+ years of operation DTI has grown to be one of the most capable mechanical and non-destructive testing laboratories in southern California. We perform testing across numerous specifications and industries while providing the highest standards of service.
Nondestructive testing includes ET, MT, UT, VT, RT, LT/Helium, PT, GPR, Surface Roughness and Ferrite Content, Utility Location, Coating Thickness, Metallurgical and Mechanical inspection.
Destructive testing includes tensile, hardness, pressure, bend testing, charpy, chemical (through Optical emission spectrometer and Xray refraction), grain size and structure, modulus of elasticity, dimensional metallurgical mounts, macro/micro hardness, microscopy (with digital dimensions), holiday testing, and
failure analysis.
