Two Friends with a Dream
Desco Audio and Video is a second-generation, family-owned business that is one of the largest AV integrators in Western Washington.

Two friends, Dick Scott and Gene DeRousie, met and discovered a shared background in electronics and a dedication to service.

Dick owned and operated a TV repair and rental shop at Fort Lewis and McChord AFB and Gene was a technician with the phone company.

Together they formed Desco Electronics Corporation in July 1969.

Evolving with Technology
Desco began as a radio and television retail/repair shop and has remained at the forefront of the ever-changing world of technology for almost 50 years.
