Matthew Koch has been in the tile and stone industry for 30 years. He originally opened Distinctive Tile & Stone in Seattle in 1998 after discovering that stonework was the perfect outlet for his design experience and passion. He holds his Masters in International Market Development. Matt has worked with Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, and Calwer Decken-und Tuchfabriken, one of the world’s oldest textile companies. As well as operating Distinctive Tile & Stone, Matt is currently working with Ceramicas Calaf s/a., a Spanish based tile manufacturer in the development of North America and Asian markets.

Distinctive Tile & Stone is now located in Olympia, Washington. As a design-based company that works closely with homeowners, they help you bring your imagined projects to life. While many of the projects that Distinctive Tile & Stone work on could be described as “rich,” the company’s simple philosophy has always been to provide the best quality products at the best possible price.
