Dawson Trucking Inc. has been a locally owned and family-run business since 1979. Starting out as a contract trucking company, in 1990, Dennis and Dawn Dawson saw a need for a sand and gravel quarry to supply the local area with it's aggregate needs. They also added an excavation division for home site clearing and building driveways.

Denny and Dawn's sons, Doug and Duane began working for the company part time during their high school years and went to full time employment after they graduated.

Through the years of providing the Tri-County area with services in both residential and commercial aggregate and excavation earthwork, the Dawson's saw the opportunity to add another division to their company. Ready Mix concrete was a good fit with their existing operation so in late 2007 Doug and Duane purchased a new concrete batch plant and four mixer trucks. In 2008 the Dawson family opened their new division of the company, which operates as D.T.I. Ready Mix. On May 23, 2008 D.T.I. Ready Mix batched their first load of concrete. They have also added three more mixer trucks for a total of seven.

As Dennis and Dawn Dawson retired in December of 2009 the Dawson brothers, Doug and Duane, look forward to carrying on the family business. Doug and Kay Dawson, Duane and Shannon Dawson along with the crew would like to express their gratitude and thanks to our local tri-county friends and customers. Dawson Trucking Inc. and D.T.I. Ready Mix look forward to growing relationships and a new beginning fulfilling all your construction needs.
