Dr. Collins grew up in Shreveport, LA where she spent most of her time riding horses. She followed in the footsteps of her mentor and attended Texas A&M for her undergraduate degree. Dr. Collins graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and then went on to complete an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Elgin Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Collins and her family are excited to now call Nacogdoches their home. In her spare time, Dr. Collins enjoys riding horses, competing in triathlons and spending time with her husband, two young children, two dogs, 5 cats and horse.
