I was inspired to become a financial advisor because of a personal experience with Edward Jones when I was 18. My employer at the time—a small town Nebraska business owner—was unable to afford retirement benefits for his employees. So, instead, he put us in touch with an Edward Jones advisor. The advisor met with me one on one and helped me set up my first retirement account. I knew nothing about investments at the time, but this advisor took the time necessary to educate me in the most respectful way. The experience was empowering and set me on the right course with my financial journey. Today, I draw on this experience when helping my clients—both for the sound advice and exceptional customer care that I received.
Prior to becoming a full-time advisor, I worked for several non-profit organizations where I enjoyed serving others and making a positive impact on the world. Working for Edward Jones allows me to continue helping people at all stages of life while paying forward the invaluable financial advice I was given all of those years ago.
