EKONO Inc. is an independent consulting engineering firm incorporated in the State of Washington and headquartered in Bellevue. EKONO has been serving the North American Pulp & Paper industry since 1959, and is a subsidiary of Duoplan Oy, a Helsinki, Finland-based consulting engineering firm.
EKONO's key areas of service include process, energy and environmental engineering in the pulp and paper industry. Through its connections to Finland, EKONO has access to the latest European technologies and trends. Several of the engineers in our North American office have a background and experience in Finland. With our unique international expertise, we provide a very knowledgeable team to assist you in optimization of your existing operations or in implementation of your projects, from the early definition phase through implementation.
