Nearing 50 years experience in the Electrical Apparatus repair industry. I have attended many vocational training seminars from AC generator to welding machine courses. Currently I am required to maintain certification to repair Miller and Lincoln welding equipment. I am also a certified Yaskawa AC Drives specialist. Other electrical troubleshooting skills that include working on printing equipment and other electrically controlled equipment. I have experience in pretty much all phases of rotating electrical apparatus repair. That includes many years of hands on dis-assembly, rewinding, assembly, alignment, vibration analysis, and trouble shooting of low and medium voltage AC motors and generators. I also have considerable experience with customer support over the phone.
I was honored to serve our industry by being deeply involved with our trade association EASA (Electrical Apparatus Service Association). I served on their Technical Education Committee for several years and chaired it for some of that. With this group I was involved with educational program development. Also during this period I served on EASA's board of directors from 2000 - 2009. I was honored to serve as Chairman of the Board for 2007 - 2008.
