GBI Partners was founded in 1997 as Gene Baker Inc. Under the direction of Eugene R. Baker, GBI Partners re-launched in 2003 as the demand for high quality surveying services grew. Today GBI Partners employs more than 40 people including twelve field crews.

GBI Partners has a strong history of providing support for civil-engineering and land development firms in Texas. Over the years, GBI has positioned itself as the leading surveying resource for various award-winning Texas master planned communities such as Missouri City’s Sienna, Lakes at Creekside, Tavola, Tamarron, Harvest Green and Southern Colony.

GBI Partners invests in technology to guarantee that we can offer our clients the most efficient results. Our accuracy is possible by utilizing all Leica Viva Equipment including TS16 Robotics, in conjunction with CS20 Controllers, and the GNSS and GS18 Receivers referencing Leica’s SmartNet. AutoDesk Civil 3D, MicroStation and Eagle Point are utilized in office to support field efforts and to create a superior product for our clients.

Each surveying crew is equipped with a 4G Mobile Broadband Connection Card, allowing immediate data transfers from field to office.
