Togetherness, even during uncertainty, helps us feel strong. Community is powerful when it’s used to encourage, build, and bring stability. Groove Nation along with its nonprofit partner New Groove, is a “safe haven” for both youth and young adults. Within the classroom (or small group), kids learn how to become strong, successful and purposeful individuals. We speak on overcoming obstacles, accomplishing goals, pushing through adversity, living in gratitude, learning leadership, and so much more! Yes, we learn strong dance or music skills, but it is only the vehicle we use for the greater purpose. Our staff are in agreement with this mission and culture. We see our responsibility as a crucial need in a child’s life. Part of keeping the kids safe, is providing structure and a healthy environment for their emotional, mental and physical well-being.
