Florida National College officially changed its name to Florida National University March 24, 2012, making it the first and only University in Hialeah. Florida National University is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, and master degrees.

Presently, FNU consists of three campuses that offer Master’s, Baccalaureate, and Associate Degree programs, Diplomas and Certificate Programs with on-campus, hybrid, and online classes.
