Jim Toman Insurance is an independent insurance agency in Tyler, TX. Representing over a dozen insurance companies, we are able shop for the lowest rates from these companies and to provide those low rates to our clients.

Jim Toman, Independent Insurance Agent

Jim Toman has been in the insurance business for 32 years. He started in 1984 with Allstate in Houston, TX, where he ran a very successful agency and was awarded Agent of the Year many times. In 2002, Jim sold his Houston Allstate agency and moved to Tyler where he purchased the Allstate agency located on Old Bullard Rd.

Jim sold the Tyler Allstate agency in 2007 and started a new independent agency so he could better serve his clients - by shopping more than one company's insurance products with the result of lowering the rates his clients were having to pay.

Jim and his wife Debbie, along with their son Cliff, worship at Flint Baptist Church in Flint.
