Jim Shaw began Sandblasting at Farmers Mercantile in 1957 where he Sandblasted and Painted Equipment until 1980. In 1980, Jim and his wife Betty founded Jim's Sandblasting with the belief that portable Sandblasting and Equipment Painting should not cost and arm and a leg.
In 1992 their son Jimmy joined the company full time. Then in 1994 their son Tom joined the company full time.
Jim continued in the business until his Death January 31, 2010.
Jim's Sandblasting continues on today with the remaining partners Betty Shaw, Jimmy Shaw, and Tom Shaw.
Update: on September 7, 2017 Betty lost her 3 year battle with cancer.
