Joyce Sisler is a co-owner and the founder of J & J Travel Service LLC. In 1989, Joyce began taking courses from a local travel agency school in Lubbock, Texas, while working after hours and on weekends at the agency to gain experience. In 1990, she relocated to Clovis, New Mexico and began working part time for another local travel agency, being called upon to work for agents who were out or on vacation. While each of these agencies provided learning opportunities, Joyce desired to open her own business. As a new mom with another baby on the way, Joyce opened J & J Travel Service in October 1994. From 1994 to 2002 J & J focused on leisure and personal travel. In 2002, Joyce added corporate travel to J & J Travel Service's services. Everyday travel, annual and monthly seminars, meeting space, hotel space, airfare and transportation are all managed for corporations, so that they can focus on their business without worrying about travel.

Since beginning J & J Travel Agency, Joyce has attended the University of Texas, received her Accredited Cruise Counselors' certification, Master's Cruise Counselors' certification, Disney Specialist certification and Mexico specialist certification. All are maintained and kept current.
