The team is helmed by lead designer and owner, Leila Kharem. Leila inherited Karen Houghton Interiors after 15 years working directly with Karen Houghton.

KHI Design Group's studio is located in Nyack, NY where Leila and her team work on projects ranging in scope, from entire homes where they collaborate with architects and builders to facilitate the construction process, or smaller assignments such as updating a single room, or creating an exceptional window treatment.
