The Kingsland Convention and Community Center (KCCC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that has been serving Kingsland and the surrounding communities since 1986. KCCC receives no tax dollars, but is supported entirely by rental income, donations, and modest membership dues.
It is used for a multitude of functions, including but not limited to: weddings, showers, reunions, birthday parties, quinceaneras, teas, recitals, gun shows, quilt shows, monthly meetings, business meetings, classes, dances, carnivals, family festivals, town hall meetings, and many other community functions. It is also the designated evacuation center in the event of emergency and natural disaster crisis situations.
In addition, it is also used by many other non-profits in the area for activities and fundraising events. Pancake breakfasts, scouting camps, sports awards banquets, cheerleading practices, teas, special needs life-skills classes, vendor markets, bible studies, scholarship pageants.........the list goes on.
KCCC is the home to many community events such as Oktoberfest, the annual Halloween Carnival and Kingsland Christmas. We have movies nights, educational series, rabies clinics, dances, and much more.
