The Lakewood Community Center is a multipurpose center, serving residents of all ages. The site features a college-sized gymnasium plus Seeley Lake Park and trail. The community center normally offers many activities, programs and services provided by Pierce County Parks.
During COVID-19 restrictions, the center is open only for Specialized Recreation programs, gymnasium rentals, and district court operations.
Facility Hours
The building is open for district court operations and Specialized Recreation activities. Beginning November of 2021, the gymnasium will be available for basketball or badminton rentals during the weekends through December. Online reservation requests will be accepted beginning October 18, 2021.
