For several years, my son and I would travel to Anacortes, travel on the ferry to the islands, spending Mothers Day together. So when my husband, Robert and I were deciding where to “settle down”, there was one certainty, we wanted to live and be a part of the beautiful Anacortes community.

My dream for years was to have a children’s clothing store and with our move to Anacortes, we quickly realized that this was the time to fulfill that dream.

Lil’ Tugs name came from the inspiration of watching the tugboats working hard to maneuver barges and ships, we find this so fascinating. Just like watching the little ones in our lives that constantly maneuver through their days, the name Lil’ Tugs felt so appropriate for our store name. With the help of my nephew, Christopher, a beautiful logo was created.

The love of our families and our unique work backgrounds are helping us to create an innovative environment in children’s retail. Bringing excellent customer service and providing you with a new favorite place to shop for your family, children, friends and grandchildren. Our brands and designers are hand selected with you and your children’s happiness in mind.
