Obviously, in order to be in a position to render the type of service we believe necessary, it is required that we be heavily involved in professional development. Professional development includes courses offered outside the firm as well as inhouse training sessions and individual study.

The firm also encourages individual activity by each of its members in various professional, civic, and service avenues which are available in the communities we serve. Because we are professional accountants, we frequently are in a position to make available specific types of leadership skills which are quite valuable in community undertakings and which, we believe, will continue to help make our communities the types of places in which we want to live and work. Our philosophy also includes the general idea that in order to be of maximum service to our clientele, it is necessary that we, on a technical basis, be able to provide the complete range of professional services that our clients might require. These services include audit, tax, financial statement work, management advisory services, general business services, and computer services. In order to achieve this goal, we believe it is necessary to develop specialization among the members of our firm.

Our firm is associated with Southwest Practice Management Group, which is an association of large CPA firms with common objectives. This resource enables member firms to increase professional excellence and competence by sharing talent and experience.
