In 1977, Jim and Jeanna Rard started a new boat yard, Marine Servicenter, in a little shop in Seattle. Over the years, the business expanded to include new and used yacht sales, yacht dry storage, and a marine store.

In 2020, after 43 years in the boatyard business, Jim and Jeanna sold the boatyard portion of Marine Servicenter, in order to concentrate on new and used yacht sales. The boatyard in Anacortes is fully functioning under the direction of Seattle Yachts, who retained all the employees that have been working there for many years.

Our Bellingham sales office is at 1801 Roeder Ave STE #128, this is new location, as our previous sales office was located in Anacortes. The Seattle dealership is located on the west side of Lake Union at 2442 Westlake Avenue N., in a fantastic new building with its own moorage basin out the back door. Ironically, this is the exact location where Jim and Jeanna started the company nearly 40 years ago!

Marine Servicenter is known for their after-sales service, and will continue to care for our clients. Our four full-time Certified Professional yacht brokers are boaters! We cruise, sail, fish, liveaboard and race. Combined, we have well over a century of boating experience.
