New York Fencing Academy was founded in 2010 in Coney Island, Brooklyn as a center for excellence in epee. Today, NYFA has one of the strongest competitive programs in the country and has been named Fencing Club of the Year for two years in a row and ranked #1 in youth epee by National Fencing Club Rankings. In 2018, NYFA-LI opened in Port Washington, Long Island, and in 2021, NYFA-W will be opening in Port Chester, Westchester, delivering its successful training programs to the broader New York fencing community.
