Dick Jacob and his wife Dee started Northwest Propeller in 1985 on Auburn Municipal Airport in Auburn Washington, a suburb community 30 miles south of Seattle.

Prior to starting Northwest Propeller Dick Jacob spent 15 years as a senior propeller technician and manager at Pacific Propeller ,a large propeller overhaul and repair facility in nearby Kent, Washington.

After 10 successful years at their Auburn location Dick and Dee were growing Northwest Propeller faster than the size of their facility could support. It was clear they needed to expand their operating size to keep up with the demands of business. They relocated Northwest Propeller to a neighboring airport, Pierce County Airport - Thun Field in Puyallup, Washington where they are todaLocated in a 15,000 square foot facility Northwest Propeller employs a team of highly trained and well equipped propeller technicians.
Northwest Propeller serves customers from all across North America and has earned a reputation as a leading and well respected provider of propeller knowledge and quality workmanship.
In 2010 Northwest Propeller received the distinctive and highly coveted honor of being added to Hartzell Propeller's Recommended Service Facility (RSF). Northwest Propeller is only one of 22 propeller shops worldwide to be given this designation.
