All minors, under the age of 18, are required to take a DMV licensed, 30 hour Driver Education course. Our online Driver Education course may be completed from the comfort of your home and you may work at your own pace. This course will prepare you for the written exam at DMV. A Driver Education Completion certificate will be mailed to your residence after you pass the course. Adults are not required to take Driver Education, but it may be beneficial.
All minors, under the age of 18, are required to complete 6 hours of driver training with a licensed driving instructor. Before a student may begin driving they must completing their first driver training lesson and have their permit validated. Each lesson is two hours in length, requiring the student to take a total of 3 lessons. Lessons are conducted in a one-on-one setting, in our vehicle that is equipped with dual controls and additional safety equipment.
Once a minor has held their permit for a minimum of six months, completed six hours of Driver Training, with an instructor, and fifty hours of driving with an adult 25 years of age or older, who had a valid California drivers license, they may schedule and take their behind the wheel driving exam.
