Bob Racing Flat track
Bob's racing career started in 1964 at Black Cats Race Track. He quickly progressed to novice at Sidewinders in Clackamas, OR, working his way to expert. During his 12-year professional career, Bob built and maintained his own motorcycles. The highlight of his career was moving his family to Los Angeles, CA for a year to work and race at Ascot Speedway in Gardenia, CA. During his stay in California, he raced at all the tracks in the area. Back in the Northwest he raced at Castle Rock, Sidewinders, Elma, Boise, and many others. Bob's specialty was flat-track and TT racing.
Bob's hobbies include drag racing, building Triumph engines, and collecting old Triumph parts.
Bob has been a journeyman machinist for over 40 years, drawing his experiences from various machine shops in Washington, Oregon, and California. Quality Machine began in 1986, progressing to the present location in 1989. Bob has been married to his wife Donna for 45 years, has two grown children Dawn and Matt.
