About Us
Ready Metals was founded by Fort Worth native, Rocky Adams, in January of 2012 to offer a better scrap sales option for the people and businesses of East Fort Worth. Prior to starting Ready Metals, Rocky had 33 years of experience at publicly traded Commercial Metals Company. Rocky was an Assistant Manager and Manager of the Dallas Liberty yard, then served as Regional Manager for CMC's Southern Division, eventually ending his career at CMC as the Vice President of M&A.
Ready Metals was built with a clear vision to become a scrap metal recycling company that would provide unparalleled roll-off container service for larger industrial accounts, while also offering a very unique drive-thru indoor experience for local individuals and small businesses.
