Rory is a fifth generation Islander doing what he loves, metal design and fabrication. His interest in mechanics and welding began when he was just a boy. Together with his father he repaired cars and built mini-bikes. By the time he turned 13 he was welding his own vehicle frames and took on his first big solo project building a 1946 CJ2A Willy's Jeep.
Rory graduated from Bainbridge High in 2003 and went on to study aeronautics and obtained a degree in aviation maintenance. He became certified in machining, welding and A & P. After working four years with airplanes he decided to start his own business. By incorporating his talents and enthusiasm in metal work, design, auto-mechanics, and repair Rory's Custom Fabrication was born.
Established in 2009, RCF continues to expand and with that comes the ability to take on more complex and challenging projects. Rory's Custom Fabrication now consists of a team of highly skilled fabricators, detail oriented draftsmen and specialized equipment allowing projects to be executed in a full spectrum of metals and finishes.
