Located in the heart of Seattle’s Columbia City neighborhood, The Royal Esquire Club (REC) is nationally recognized as one of the finest clubs west of the Mississippi as well as the premiere private (501 C 7) black social Club of the entire Pacific Northwest. The REC provides a conducive atmosphere for social interaction, education, and entertainment for its members and their guests as well as a venue for facilitating volunteer efforts in support of the community. The Royal Esquire Club is dedicated to providing a welcoming atmosphere where men as well as women can interact, enjoy themselves, and add value to the community. The Royal Esquire Club has been an integral part of Seattle’s business elite society since its founding in 1948. The Club is revered as one of Seattle’s civic treasures, an organization whose principles have attracted the city’s business, cultural and charitable leaders for generations – a legacy that lives on today.
