Rustic Brick and Fireplace’s journey began back in 1954 when Clinton A. Burrows, Jr., a retired Brigadier General from the Army Air Corp, started the business. We were one of the first stone yards in Sacramento and have been family owned and operated since the start. In our early years we manufactured our own faux stone in a kiln on our current property. We were also one of the first companies to manufacture used brick, tumbling over 50,000 brick a day at one time.
In the mid-90’s Rustic Brick and Fireplace saw a change in what customers were looking for in a building supply yard and changed our warehouse into a design showroom. We started displaying products new to the Sacramento market such as thin stone, authentic clay tile, thin brick veneer, fireplaces for indoors and outdoors, and much more. Since then our showroom has only grown more impressive as we have expanded our fireplace displays and broadened our lines of custom handmade tiles. Known for being the one of nicest showrooms in Sacramento, Rustic Brick and Fireplace still maintains its high level of customer service and reliability. Our showroom is open 6 days a week, proudly servicing homeowners, contractors, designers, and architects.
