Sikhism: The oneness of all humanity. A faith that believes all are equal in eyes of God, respects all religions, races and genders, values the principle of honest living and sharing your blessings...
Established in 1998, The Sikh Foundation San Diego is a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the religious, social, cultural, educational and spiritual needs of Sikh Community in the greater San Diego.
In addition to the regular weekly diwan (program), we observe anniversaries associated with Sikh Gurus (ten teacher prophets and the current and eternal teacher, the scripture - Guru Granth) and history. Check our calendar for all the events and don't forget to join us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter.
Services are primarily conducted in Punjabi. Punjabi is the native language of the most Sikhs that trace their origins to the state of Punjab (land of five rivers), located in present day India and Pakistan.
An English translation of the scripture is projected on a screen, during the service for everyone to follow along.
