Helvey-Wagner Surveying, Inc. (HWS) was formed from the long-time established business of Helvey and Associates Surveying that has served the North Texas region since 1983. HWS is also the first female-owned surveying company in Grayson County. Billy Helvey serves as Vice President and received his license as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in 1986 and was the founder and owner of Helvey and Associates Surveying. Kate Wagner serves as President of HWS and received her license as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in 2015 and began working with Helvey and Associates in 2004. Kenneth Russell received his license as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in 1986 and began working at Helvey and Associates that same year. Mr. Helvey has been an expert witness in numerous court proceedings and a court appointed surveyor in other litigation's. Having a combined total of over 60 years’ experience in the surveying industry, HWS provides a broad range of services in the surveying field with the most current and up-to-date technology. Survey-grade GPS systems and AutoCAD, along the advancements in computer technology and field equipment, have elevated the realm of services a surveyor can provide. Our company has excellent credentials in providing the most complete and professional services available.
In 2016, HWS bought out Sartin & Associates in Sherman along with records from five past surveyors. Having an extensive amount of surveys and supporting documents provides better knowledge and insight for multiple properties and developments in our area.
