Located in Lynden, Washington, the hub of the agriculture community in Whatcom County, Scholten's Equipment is one of four major agriculture equipment dealers in an estimated 20 million dollar total local market. We also have a second location in Burlington, WA as a part of Skagit County. Scholtens has a substantial market built up in the rest of Washington, Oregon and British Columbia, Canada.

Started by Duane and Arlene Scholten in 1980 with a single employee, Scholten's began buying and selling used equipment out of the Midwest, the company was incorporated in 1984. Scholten's Equipment is an authorized dealer of Kubota, CLAAS, JCB, Trioliet, Jamesway, JBS, Massey Ferguson/AGCO (hay & forage only), Kawasaki, Agco Hesston, Landpride, Rankin, Haybuster, and Westendorf.

Scholten's Equipment has been very aggressive and successful in pioneering relatively unknown ideas and new lines such as self-propelled forage harvesters, Kemper heads, Haybuster, Ty-Crop and JCB. Duane Scholten has cultivated many connections to the Midwest over the years. These connections have allowed Scholten's to become a leader in buying late model John Deere equipment from the Midwest, and transporting it to the west coast.
