Seaport Meat Company is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our employees, customers, partners, and other stakeholders, to ensure service continuity.
As novel coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnoses continue to increase around the world, we wanted to let you know that we have already taken proactive steps to ensure that coronavirus (COVID-19) will not significantly impact our ability to provide our products and services to you. What doesn't change is our commitment to you and our appreciation for your trust in us.
As the situation continues to evolve, we are taking measures to maintain business continuity and protect the health of our employees, customers, and partners.
Here's an overview of our current policies:
If an employee shows signs of symptoms related to COVID-19, has traveled to a restricted destination, or has been in close physical contact with someone who has traveled to a restricted destination and is showing symptoms, we require them to work from home for 14 days. After 14 days, they are re-evaluated to determine if longer time is required.
All persons entering our offices, facilities, or locations (i.e. staff, customers, visitors, and vendors) will be screened before being allowed access. If the initial screening results in an affirmative risk response, the individual will be asked to not enter the site.
We have also shared best practice health tips with all employees and placed extra hand sanitizing stations around our offices, facilities, and locations, as well as increasing the frequency of sanitary cleansing.
Travel to certain international destinations has been stopped, and all other travel has been restricted to business-critical only.
We want to be clear that these policies don't change how we work with you, or our ability to continue to provide the great products and services you rely on. Seaport Meat Company prides itself on its People First culture and these measures will help protect not only our employees, customers, and partners, but also our community as a whole. We will be continuously monitoring the situation as it evolves and will make adjustments to our policies accordingly to help keep everyone safe and healthy.
