THE SACRAMENTO CENTER is composed of members and friends of Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), a worldwide nonprofit religious organization founded by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1920. The aim of Self Realization Fellowship is direct communion with God in meditation through the practice of Kriya Yoga, an ancient and sacred scientific technique of meditation.

For further information we suggest that you visit our Center at 4513 North Avenue in Sacramento where you can find free literature as well as a collection of books, CDs, DVDs, and devotional items available for sale at our bookstore or loan through our lending library. If you are new to SRF, we suggest reading Paramahansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi, a spiritual classic which is available at our Center bookstore and at the SRF Bookstore.

Our Center serves spiritual seekers in the greater Sacramento area offering regular weekly inspirational reading and meditation services that are open to the public. The Center provides a meeting place for members to share and practice the teachings of SRF and serve our Guru's work together.
