Simply Discount Furniture Inc was established in 1989 by Don. Simply Discount is one of the first home furniture stores to have sales associates on salary instead of commission. This system was created so customers don’t feel pressured; instead, customers are more relaxed to take advantage of the great quality at Simply the lowest prices. Don opened this store — a 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse — at 21440 West Golden Triangle Rd in Santa Clarita, California, where they brought low prices and great service to the community.

Simply Discount Furniture store has been featured in ABC's "Best Buys" show, and was also recently featured on Better Homes and Gardens Channel TV show "Design on a Dime" — a show based on how little money you can spend on great home furniture and home accessories.

Simply Discount Furniture store was also featured in the Los Angeles Times as the "Place to Shop for Bargains" by writer and radio personality, Gerry Cook. Mrs. Cook has this to say about Simply Discount, "Sometimes you have to look past the front of a store to uncover a real find, point at hand, Simply Discount Furniture."
