Certified mechanic Steve Min opened Smog And Registration in 2007, ten years after moving to the United States from South Korea. As a child, Steve could fix anything, frequently taking apart Walkmans, computers, and other electronic devices. He decided to study auto repair and graduated from General Motors’ two-year training program. While living in the Bay Area, he earned his certification for smog repair and then moved to Southern California with the goal of starting his own auto repair shop and smog check facility. Today, Steve’s dream is a reality, 10 years in the making and running strong.
